The history of the Farmax spaders
1960
Agrator
Before the name Farmax existed, the brand name was; agritor. Agrator started making rotary spaders in 1960. Agrator is based in Gasteiz, Spain.
1972
Agrator stops production
Agrator stops producing small rotary spaders. At the time, Van Gemert (The Netherlands) was the Dutch importer of Agrator spaders.
1973 – 1976
The name Farmax spaders is born
1981
Farmax LRP 1
The Farmax LRP 1 is introduced.
1983 – 1985
The market asked for a combination
1983 – The Farmax DRP 1 is introduced. The market asked for a combination between an LRP and DHP.
1985 – The Farmax SERP 1 and Farmax ERP 1 are introduced to the market.
1988
The question whether the spader could do deeper tillage.
The question arises from tree cultivation whether it is possible to dig deeper than the LRP-D (80 cm deep) existing at the time.
1990
Success of the new powertrain
Due to the success of the KRG’s new powertrain, Lutters developed the LRG-D. This new type made it possible to dig even deeper with a worn variant.
1997-2007
The Farmax Rapide type 1 is introduced.
2008
Suitable property with sufficient size
Farmax is growing, so it was forced to move. A suitable building of sufficient size was for sale on the industrial estate in Denekamp (The Netherlands).
2009
Farmax building
The current Farmax building was taken into use.
2011
The new Rapide 4,5 meter Trailed.
The new Rapide Trailed (4.5 meters) is introduced.
2017 – 2019
Redesign of the LRP Profi
2017 – The new Farmax Perfect was introduced at the Agritechnica (Germany), previously the DRP.
2019 – The redesign of the LRP Profi is introduced at the Agritechnica.
2020
Farmax introduces the new Farmax Ringseeder
Together with some contractors, we worked on a seed drill with a very compact construction on the power harrow. This platform has the advantage that it sows over the complete working width, has a special leveling board, creates no slip and always creates an even connection in the sowing pattern.
